Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct activities of the Warehouse.
- Serve as the primary lead for all pick-up, shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Ensure Company vehicles and equipment are maintained on a regular basis according to manufacturer specifications.
- Direct and participate in the bin location maintenance of all areas of the Facility.
- Communicate company policies and procedures to Warehouse personnel to ensure safe and proper movement/handling of any product.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards, policies, and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- As directed by Sales Center Manager, responsible for inventory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years Warehouse operational experience within the HVAC industry and product lines associated
- with HVAC, preferably in the operations of a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house.
- Proficient knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
- Proven success in purchasing and inventory management.
- Proven success in managing and mentoring other employees.
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
- A willingness to learn and grow with our Company
- Mechanical or Technical background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred/required
