ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Admin to join our team supporting the Pantex Plant! This position is full-time and will be based out of Amarillo, Texas with hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT organization and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) within the Cybersecurity Organization

• Performs normal office functions such as:

  • setting up and maintaining files and web content (e.g. SharePoint)

  • interviewing callers and making proper referrals

  • arranging meetings and conferences

  • receiving, referring, or answering mail

• Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures

• Gathers, compiles, and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignment

• Attends staff meetings, prepares slide decks, records notes and action items, and disseminates to stakeholders

• Manages Cyber Organization directorate activity calendars to include holiday, leave, and associated events

Requirements

• Education & Years of Experience – High school diploma with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or an Associate degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

• Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work

• Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance

• Expert communication and writing skills

• Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend applicable written and/or oral communications

• Ability to prioritize and adapt to fluctuating tasks

• Strong organization and planning skills

• Requires ability to establish, maintain, communicate and coordinate advanced administrative programs and projects

• Broad working knowledge of the Cyber Organization, IS&S organization and the company policies and practices

• Must be able to handle advanced, diversified, and confidential duties that may be administrative in nature or project-based

About the Site

The NNSA's Pantex Plant, located in Amarillo, Texas, assembles, disassembles, tests, and evaluates nuclear weapons in support of the NNSA stockpile stewardship program while also performing research and development in conventional high explosives and serving as an interim storage site for plutonium pits removed from dismantled weapons (energy.gov).
