Responsibilities

As an OTR CDL-A Driver / Owner Operator, you will:

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on long-haul OTR routes
• Transport freight primarily between Idaho, the Midwest, and the Northeast
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Accurately complete all required electronic logs (ELDs), trip paperwork, and delivery documentation
• Communicate consistently with dispatch regarding loads, delays, or issues
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment
• Represent the company professionally with customers, shippers, and receivers
• Follow all safety procedures to protect freight, equipment, and public safety

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
• Clean MVR and strong safety record
• Ability to run extended OTR routes (regional flexibility required)
• Familiarity with ELD systems and DOT compliance requirements
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• Reefer experience 
• Experience handling multi-state long-haul freight lanes
• Owner-operator experience (for independent contractors)
• Strong knowledge of securement and load safety practices
• No recent preventable accidents or major violations
