Behavior Interventionist
Seeking a passionate individual to join our care team at our Day Program in Nampa, Idaho.
Position Details:
Schedule:
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Part-Time (up to 14 hours per week)
Compensation: Up to $1,040 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement targeted strategies to reduce problematic behaviors and promote positive behaviors using techniques such as positive reinforcement.
- Create and execute individualized behavioral plans.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Engage and mentor youth with a range of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Education).
- Minimum of one year of experience working with youth with special needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD).
- Ability to organize and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
