What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer - Water Resources position at GEM Global Search and Consulting Group, LLC?
You responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Create technical drawing and plans for permitting and construction of water resource projects which include design, layout, grading, drainage and erosion and sediment controls.
- Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing plans.
- Prepare cost estimates for all water resource projects.
- Develop Engineering Solutions for water resource projects
- Complete Environmental Permits
- Collaborate with engineers to design optimal plans for clients.
- Work with construction inspection personnel, as required, to ensure that contracted work accomplishes the intent of the design.
- Operate independently within a deadline driven industry.
To be successful in this position, you will bring;
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
- EI/EIT certification is desired but is not required.
- 0 – 4 of related water/wastewater experience.
- Software experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Civil 3D is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Periodic day travel is required.
