You will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of baked goods, beverages, and light snacks Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in making menu choices. Prepare and present a diverse range of baked goods, including pastries, bread, cakes, and cookies. Craft a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to brewing techniques and maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of bakery and coffee bar departments, ensuring an inviting and organized environment. Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and quality of baked goods. Place and receive product orders, ensuring accuracy and proper storage of incoming merchandise. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Embrace new challenges and be a flexible team player, taking on responsibilities as needed. Other duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a grocery retail setting Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of grocery products, merchandising techniques, and inventory management Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical requirements: Continuous hand manipulation including, grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation Reaching above and at shoulder level Standing, walking, bending up to 5 hours per day Walking on uneven surfaces Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
