- Provide strong leadership in occupational health and safety to promote compliance with safety standards among all personnel.
- Ensure that all employees adhere strictly to established safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and implement corrective actions that enhance equipment and facility safety.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee cost and price analysis.
- Actively contribute to initiatives that optimize operations and increase efficiency.
- Ensure the plant is supporting the organizational S&OP processes which include supporting demand and capacity planning, new product introductions, inventory optimization and reporting. Work to continually enhance the process
- Effectively Collaborate with leadership, HR, Sales, Product Development, and other manufacturing sites to optimize profitability, efficiencies, goals, and metrics
- Measure and analyze team performance and develop employee training and professional development plans.
- Resolve conflicts or issues within work relationships promptly and efficiently.
- Anticipate and plan for personnel needs based on production forecasts and strategic objectives.
- Create, foster, and lead a high-performance culture, focused on engagement, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a sense of urgency
- Actively seeks out team member input, engagement and communication
- Ensure waste reduction throughout the processes.
- Collaborate closely with employees and the quality and sales departments to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards.
- Strictly enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as the AIB defines, to ensure product compliance and safety.
- All other duties as assigned
- 3 years in Manufacturing Leadership, Production Management or Operations discipline.
- Solid understanding of best practices in planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge in leading a S&OP process.
- Proven experience in developing High Performance Teams.
- Solid working knowledge of plant safety and operational processes and related manufacturing.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Teams, and Outlook.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
