7PM-7AM
$1.50/Hour Shift Differential For Hours Worked Between 3PM-7AM
What You Will Do
- Operate a forklift to press and strap completed boxes of bags and wrap the completed cases.
- Keep pallets, corrugated cases, and other materials stocked for machine operators.
- Assist the Inspector/Packer in packing finished product as needed.
- Transport paper waste from each machine to the baler & process it accordingly.
- Document inventory when boxes are completed.
- Notify the machine operator of any definite or potential non-conformance issues.
- Read work orders to ensure correct material use and quality specifications.
- Perform scheduled quality checks for early detection of issues and report issues for early correction.
- Maintain a reasonably clean and clutter-free work space.
- Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines and report on safety concerns as they arise.
- Continuously upskill and learn to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Train new teammates as needed.
- Wear required PPE at all times while on the production floor.
- Work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment—someone who takes initiative and manages their own workflow effectively.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to quickly assess issues and make sound decisions on the floor.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.
- Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks to support smooth plant operations.
- Prior forklift operating experience is preferred, but not required.
- Schedule: The 2-2-3 schedule rotation provides you with many days off throughout the week and every other weekend.
