Duties
- Read and understands the production order.
- Make and verify all adjustments to the machine to meet required production order.
- Conduct quality control checks – first piece inspection and teardowns.
- Consult with supervisor/manager when any quality concerns arise.
- Work closely with and assist both the shafter and stacker as needed.
- Train others as needed.
- Perform preventative care and maintenance of the machine.
- Fill out all machine reports.
- Verify that glue and/or staktite pans and reservoirs are ready before start-up.
- Be at machine at all times when running.
- Able to delegate shafter/stacker in job duties.
- Will learn to operate all tubers.
- Must be ready to work any shift.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Will train on shift as needed.
- Relieve tubing department workers for breaks.
- Will work in other areas as needed.
- Must be able to communicate and understand work instructions and training information.
- Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor or Lead Person.
- Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor or Lead Person.
- Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.
- Assist in Training.
