Bag Machine Operator

Our Omaha, NE facility is in need of a Machine (Tuber) Operator to join our team. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Duties

• Read and understands the production order.
• Make and verify all adjustments to the machine to meet required production order.
• Conduct quality control checks – first piece inspection and teardowns.
• Consult with supervisor/manager when any quality concerns arise.
• Work closely with and assist both the shafter and stacker as needed.
• Train others as needed.
• Perform preventative care and maintenance of the machine.
• Fill out all machine reports.
• Verify that glue and/or staktite pans and reservoirs are ready before start-up.
• Be at machine at all times when running.
• Able to delegate shafter/stacker in job duties.
• Will learn to operate all tubers.
• Must be ready to work any shift.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Will train on shift as needed.
• Relieve tubing department workers for breaks.
• Will work in other areas as needed.
• Must be able to communicate and understand work instructions and training information.
• Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor or Lead Person.
• Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor or Lead Person.
• Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.
• Assist in Training.
