Gelco is expanding across the U.S., Canada, and the UK and is seeking seasoned

Independent Line Representatives with active, established relationships in the

imprintable apparel and promotional products industry.


This is not a startup line looking for traction. This is a proven innovation platform

re-entering the market with clarity, discipline, and timing.


Strategic Rollout What We’re Looking For

We are intentionally executing a disciplined product rollout over the next 18 months and

will not deviate from that plan. At launch, we are re-entering the market with a focused

offering of (2) patented and (2) non-patented hoodie styles across multiple colorways.

We are not flooding the market with excessive SKU categories or overextending the

line.


Instead, we are providing recognizable, proven colorways that fit naturally within your

existing accounts. This is designed for reps who understand how to position product

within established relationships—not those looking to redesign or redirect strategy.

We are looking for seasoned, strategic reps who know how to sell, not individuals who

feel the need to tell us what we don’t have or what we should be doing. For the right

rep—someone who is a true go-getter with strong relationships—we will fully support

and invest behind them.


Your role is simple:

Get the meeting. We will handle the rest.


Our product, internal sales team, backend support, and if necessary, the founders

themselves, will help drive the close and implementation.


Timeline & Early Engagement

  • Samples arriving: Mid-July 2026
  • Inventory arrival: Late September 2026


We are looking for reps who come on board now—individuals confident and

experienced enough to drive early interest using:

  • Tech Sheets
  • CAD Sheets
  • Marketing collateral


The right rep can create:

  • interest
  • anticipation
  • and even small quantity pre-booked orders before inventory lands (Huge

Commission Bonus for pre-booked orders)


Initial interviews will be held virtually, where we will walk through product details and

technical sheets. We are intentionally not showcasing products publicly yet—we are

prioritizing bringing on the right sales reps before inventory is available.


Gelco was behind the original patented 2Tone innovation released in the early 2000s.

The company was later recognized as a Top 20 Innovator in Apparel Magazine (2012)

for its contribution to product development and category thinking. Other notable

highlights include placement in 50 college bookstores nationwide and securing

licensing agreements with mid-market distributors.


But now—Gelco is re-entering the market with:

  • A refined, properly positioned system built for today’s distribution channels
  • Active and upcoming additional patent-backed product releases


This is about building a category position, not just moving product—supported by a

scalable, simplified Go-To-Market strategy.


The Opportunity

This is a relationship-first, placement-driven role for independent reps who

already call on:

  • Screen printers
  • Promotional product distributors
  • Contract decorators
  • Merchandise buyers


You are not being asked to push a brand, create hype, or chase accounts.

If you understand how to slot in a product line that actually fits into your existing

book of business, this will stand out immediately.


Role Overview

As an Independent Sales Representative, you will re-introduce and expand Gelco’s

imprintable apparel / blank goods programs within your current territory and

relationships.

You will operate independently, backed by Gelco’s internal team and senior

leadership—giving you the support structure needed to close, implement, and scale

accounts effectively.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Active independent line rep in blank goods / promo / imprintable apparel
  • Established relationships with:
  • Screen printers
  • Promotional product distributors
  • Contract decorators
  • Currently carrying complementary, non-conflicting lines
  • Proven ability to introduce and grow programs within accounts


Compensation Structure:

  • Commission-based (independent contractor)
  • Bonus earnings tied to:
    • Initial placements
    • Ongoing reorder activity and account growth
    • Territory protection earned through performance
