What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Legal Assistant to Paralegal position at Gelbman Law PLLC?
Hybrid Remote/In person position in solo practice focused on Elder Law. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. Experience in legal office procedures a must but will train in specific aspects of Elder Law and Estate Planning.
Will consider recent law school grad awaiting bar results with interest in Family law, Real Estate or Estate Planning, or Health Law.
Responsibilities
- Handle and coordinate active calendars
- Schedule and confirm meetings
- Ensure file organization based on office protocol
- Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred candidate will also have experience in case management and document drafting
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
