Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Geisinger Primary Care in Orwigsburg, PA. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing primary clinical support to our providers and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical data base for provider
- Provide direct clinical care as directed by provider
- Assist provider in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations as directed by provider
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork to expedite laboratory studies with maximum accuracy and efficiency
- Execute and document ongoing patient communication, as directed by provider, prioritizes communication to the provider, responds to patient questions and requests to ensure efficient use of provider time and timely response to patients needs
