- Directs and assists with clerical support to the department.
- Participates in recruitment, interview, and selection process of clerical support staff.
- Coordinates training and orientation programs for assigned staff.
- Utilizes established metrics to track and report on clerical team performance to department leadership.
- Assures continuing education is communicated to and or attended by all access team members.
- Conducts performance appraisals and addresses performance problems.
- Develops and maintains policies and procedures for assigned area.
- Evaluates operations and recommends and implements changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for staffing plans and daily schedules; establishes work priorities.
- Attends all necessary team meetings as a representative of the team.
