What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Floater position at Geil Enterprises, Inc?
We are seeking diligent and reliable Janitorial Floaters to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing shift coverage for janitors that call off as well as providing additional support where needed. The Floater is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of client facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow client cleaning specifications
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition
- Notify management of any repairs required
- Maintain an organized workspace
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and training
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to interface with all levels of personnel within the organization.
- Ability to manage time effectively, be flexible and multi-task effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Consistent positive attitude.
- Computer literate and proven organization skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently move or transport items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Prefer one or more years’ experience as a Janitor, but not required.

- Full-time positions range from 30-40 hours per week.
Candidates applying must be able to work one or a combination of the shift(s) below:
- Swing: may work 6 to 8hrs between 12:00 PM - 3:00AM

Pay Range: $17.50 - $23.50
