Electrical Estimator/Project Manager

The Project Manager handles cost estimates and hands-on operational oversight of various commercial and light industrial electrical construction projects. We are seeking someone to estimate and manage small and large jobs. Must be detail oriented with a strong understanding of the importance of managing budgets. This person must be trustworthy, reliable and self-motivated. We are seeking someone committed to supplying a safe electrical environment for a variety of electrical systems. We are looking for a long-term employee who is looking for a workplace to call home.

Below is a brief description of key responsibilities of this role.

• Plan and implement work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of electrical expenditures, and procedures for equipment and appliance maintenance with fellow PMs, Field Supervisor and Equipment Manager.
• Review plans, put together estimates, and prep for future projects including permits and building code requirements.
• Prepares material list, equipment lists and labor estimates
• Closely monitors budget to ensure project is profitable and staying ahead of deadlines.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of commercial and industrial construction and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities
• Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others of various personalities, set priorities, and take initiative
• Demonstrates success leading a team through complex project execution
• Experience managing and leading field-level staff and holding them accountable to project goals
• Responsible for achieving Annual Sales & Job Profitability Plan
• Verify and approve all daily time of assigned employees.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, skills are a must.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Has a positive outlook on situations and life in general.
