Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Insurance Agent role based in Charlotte, NC. The Licensed Insurance Agent will consult with prospective and existing customers to understand their coverage needs and recommend appropriate GEICO insurance products. Daily responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, preparing quotes, explaining policy options, and guiding customers through the application and binding process. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, following up on leads, cross-selling and upselling compatible products, and meeting or exceeding sales and performance metrics. The agent will collaborate with office leadership and teammates to support local marketing efforts, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and adhere to all regulatory and company compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options and close business effectively.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage and Finance, including understanding of policy structures, premiums, and basic financial concepts.
- Demonstrated excellence in Customer Service, with a focus on active listening, clear communication, and problem resolution.
- Current Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Proven track record in a quota-driven or commission-based sales environment.
- Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced office setting and using CRM and quoting systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
