Customer Service Representative – GEICO Local Office, Sterling, VA
$20 per hour plus incentives.
Our GEICO local office in Sterling is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team. If you enjoy helping people and like a job where your effort directly boosts your paycheck, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do
- Answer incoming calls from GEICO customers
- Help customers make policy changes, process payments and resolve issues
- Use GEICO's customer service software to find answers and resolve requests quickly
- Work alongside a supportive team to make every customer's experience a good one
- Incentivized to refer cross sale opportunities to teammates
- solicit google reviews
- work with teammates to generate lead opportunities via calling and emailing
Pay
- $20/hour base pay, plus incentives for referring cross sales. Target comp is $50k.
- Paid training provided

What we're looking for
- Reliable and punctual
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help people
- A team player who's comfortable on the phone
- Prior insurance agency experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.

- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Previous customer service, call center, or insurance experience
