Our GEICO Local Office in Chicago is currently looking for a talented, caring individual to join our agency team. As an Office Manager, you'll wear many hats — you'll oversee the daily operations of the agency, including maintenance of day-to-day, creation of agency processes and systems, coordination of schedules and oversight of training and continuing education requirements — making a strong contribution to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the agency.
Role Requirements:
- Office management, sales and supervisory experiences
- Discipline and organizational skills
- Experience with building relationships
- Experience with PC software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, etc.
- The proper insurance licensing to sell and service insurance products (P&C)
- Bilingual Spanish required
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient communication among staff.
- Support Sales Team in specific tasks.
- Service customers
- Manage scheduling and calendar coordination, including meetings and events.
- Supervise and train personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Handle vendor management, budgeting, and bookkeeping tasks, including payroll inputs.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure compliance with office protocols.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other software to enhance productivity and reporting.
- Provide bilingual support to enhance communication with diverse clients and stakeholders.
You'll work as part of a team in an office setting. Work on evenings and weekends might occasionally be needed.
