Note: This position is 100% onsite and not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support and manage day-to-day HR operations. As the primary HR contact for the company, this role will oversee employee lifecycle processes, coordinate recruiting and interviewing activities, maintain the HR portal and employee records, and support the manager with ongoing HR initiatives. The ideal candidate has broad HR experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while operating as the central resource for all HR matters.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee inquiries, and HR documentation
· Maintain and update employee records, HR portals, and compliance documentation
· Coordinate full-cycle recruiting: job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
· Support the manager and hiring teams with interviewing and selection processes
· Manage new hire paperwork, orientation, and benefits enrollment support
· Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations
· Support performance review processes, policy updates, and HR initiatives
· Track attendance, PTO, and employee status changes
· Maintain HR logs, reports, and audit-ready documentation
· Serve as a resource to employees for HR-related questions and guidance
· Assist with payroll-related updates and employee information changes
· Recommend improvements to HR processes, systems, and communication tools
Qualifications
· 2–5 years of professional HR experience in recruiting, onboarding, HR administration
· Strong understanding of general HR practices and employment regulations
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· High attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality
· Ability to independently manage workload in an HR department-of-one environment
· Experience with HRIS systems or employee portals
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systems
· Manufacturing or small-business HR experience a plus
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary range: $50,000 – $65,000, based on experience and qualifications
