Lawn Care Worker

Overview

Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Lawn Care Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of landscape maintenance techniques and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas are healthy, attractive, and well-kept, contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of commercial or residential properties. Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal efficiently.
• Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as aerating soil, applying pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols.
• Conduct seasonal tasks including snow plowing in winter or tree trimming during appropriate seasons to preserve safety and aesthetics.
• Use hand tools and specialized equipment or tree care tools for landscaping projects.
• Follow all safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

Qualifications

• Prior outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping is highly preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is essential.
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery such as commercial mowers and snow plows is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation.
• Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
