Gehlen Catholic School is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2026 spring semester. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated educator who demonstrates excellence in small group instruction and individualized student support, development, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans, collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff to meet student needs.
The qualified candidate must have a valid Iowa teaching license with special education endorsement and have or be willing to get a Strategist I Endorsement. A reading endorsement and prior teaching experience are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits include starting salary at $45,000/year (commensurate with experience), 401(k), Dental, Health, and Vision Insurance, Sick & Personal Leave.
