Gehlen Catholic School is seeking a full-time 2nd Grade Teacher for the 2026 spring semester.
The ideal candidate will be a faith-filled educator who demonstrates excellence in explicit instruction and strong classroom management, knowledge and practice of inclusivity in a general education setting, and experience with the Science of Reading and standards-based education.
The candidate must possess a valid Iowa Teaching License with elementary endorsement. A reading endorsement and prior grade-level teaching experience are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits include starting salary $45,000/year (commensurate with experience), 401(k), Dental, Health, and Vision Insurance, Sick & Personal Leave, and Tuition Discount.
