What Youll Do
- Install and repair stainless steel piping, valves, platforms, guards, and production equipment
- Perform sanitary piping fabrication, fitting, and installations as required
- Fit and weld stainless steel pipe (.049.120 wall) using GTAW (TIG) welding
- Repair stainless steel valves, tanks, and related equipment using GTAW methods
- Use grinding and torch techniques to prepare equipment and materials
- Plan welding tasks, select proper equipment, and determine optimal welding methods
- Follow plant safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company GMPs
- Document completed work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Maintain welding tools and equipment to ensure readiness for service requests
- Communicate effectively with maintenance, production teams, and internal customers
- Perform additional welding and maintenance duties as assigned
What Youll Need
- At least 2 years of sanitary/process pipe welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to fabricate and weld piping to design specifications
- Experience planning and executing small piping projects independently
- Proficiency with GTAW (TIG) welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Knowledge of grinding and torch techniques
- Basic math and algebra skills related to pipe fitting calculations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work safely for extended periods in physically demanding conditions
