What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Representative position at Gegan Law Office?
We are seeking an Intake Representative who believes in being proactive and that planning is better than dealing with problems later. You will be responsible for answering phone calls and emails from prospective new clients (PNC’s), taking messages, scheduling appointments, creating contacts and updating contact information in our system, log all incoming calls in our system with correctly spelled name(s), phone numbers, email addresses, making sure every PNC in our system has a scheduled “next step” in place so no one falls through the cracks.
Our goal is to make sure our clients are absolutely DELIGHTED with us, and the experience they had with us, and the Intake Representative is a key party of that as the first voice/face that PNC’s hear and see. We let our clients know that our goal is that they become a delighted client of our firm for years to come.
You should have some office experience, including answering phones, using standard office software and computers and contact management systems. We primarily are interested in the right personality; bright, engaging, outgoing and likeable. For example, an ideal candidate might some someone with prior or ongoing acting experience.
We are a law firm handing business litigation and estate planning. In addition to your skills, you need to have the right attitude. You need to be positive-minded. We don’t need to create our own drama, our clients often have enough going on! You must be comfortable working in a team… we win together and lose together. There are no “lone wolves” tolerated here. You need to be able to not only tolerate change and growth, but you should embrace it. We are rapidly growing and so things will change.
We offer a very flexible work and compensation package. This position can be virtual/work from home, or in the office or a hybrid. This position is full time, 9-5. Eventually this position will shift to being mainly if not solely in the office. You will also be part of the “signing team”, serving as a witness at estate plan signings. Extra points if you have, or want to study for your notary license.
Total compensation package negotiable, but expect from $41,600 to $55,000 depending on experience and other qualities. We offer participation in our Firm retirement plan with employer matching contributions up to 3% of your salary, paid time off (one week first year, two weeks afterwards), and all Federal holidays.
