Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD),
Digital Networks & Applications (DNA) department, contingent upon award. This position is in
Patuxent River, Maryland. The successful candidate will work with technical teams to plan and track the task order milestones and events. Candidates should have experience organizing and coordinating the planning and production for all the client deliveries on technically complex programs utilizing modern cloud technologies. The primary focus of this position is working
alongside senior Government customers to hire and manage employees to perform duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Program Manager in support

Duties
- Serve as primary point of contact for work related to the program both technical and administrative
- Experience in planning, estimating, organizing, staffing, and executing projects to scale to include multiple, distributed teams
- Manage organization of GaN employees and subcontractors
- Frequently engages with customers and staff in order to plan and track all work
- Develops project plans as needed and tracks progress until delivery
- Contributes to the development of project management strategies and processes
- Develops resource management plans and controls program cost
- Develops Work Breakdown Structures where appropriate
- Assists in managing change associated to projects
- Communicates pertinent information and requirements to program
- Ensure quality standards on all deliverables
- Analyzes program risk, develops, and implements mitigation strategies
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project)
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to work independently
- Good understanding of Government contracting
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or related discipline
- 10 years of relevant experience as a Program Manager or related role
- 8 years of intensive and progressive experience in supervising and managing substantive application software development or implementation projects (to include 1 years of cloud migration, implementation or contract support)
- 4 years of experience in a PM role employing Agile delivery methods as the primary project management strategy
- Project Management Institute – Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or equivalent certification
- Active Secret Clearance
