Overview
This position supports day-to-day accounting operations for a retail organization, ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date, and processed efficiently. The role works with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth financial workflows and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review financial data, reconcile accounts, and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain and update accounting records within financial systems
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues
- Monitor transactions across various payment methods, including credit cards and gift cards
- Assist with expense tracking and proper allocation of costs
- Support tax-related filings and required financial documentation
- Contribute to payroll, onboarding, and other administrative accounting tasks as needed
- Assist with audits, reporting, and other finance-related projects
Qualifications
