Electrical Controls Engineer
The GEE Group has partnered with a Fortune 500 manufacturing company in search of an Electrical Controls Engineer. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for someone well-suited to take ownership of automation projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
As a key member of the engineering team, you’ll be responsible for the design, programming, and execution of industrial automation systems. You’ll also lead and manage automation projects, ensuring timely and efficient implementation across the facility. Your responsibilities will include:
🔹 Programming PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
🔹 Designing and building electrical control panels
🔹 Leading automation projects from design through installation and support
🔹 Collaborating across departments including production, maintenance, and engineering
🔹 Troubleshooting control systems and optimizing performance
🔹 Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Qualified Candidates will have:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
✔ Proven experience in PLC and HMI programming
✔ Expertise in electrical control panel design
✔ Experience managing automation projects in a manufacturing environment
✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
