Application Engineer
Our client is looking for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between the customer's needs and oversee the technical product development phase. This individual will manage sales projects and work closely with the sales and engineering team for the development of heating solutions.
Application Engineer responsibilities:
- Participate in presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Oversee manufacturing designs to ensure accuracy with customer specifications.
- Coordinate all pricing activities and schedule shipments based on customer requests.
- Approve drawings from the engineering team.
- Manage testing requirements for on-time delivery expectations, prototypes, and all other shipment related projects assigned.
- Travel up to 15% to customers site's as required for sales/technical presentations, measurements and other parameter discussions, issues, and other customer needs.
- Conduct pricing reviews with major accounts and make recommendations based on profit information and market pricing to help retain existing customers and obtain new ones.
Application Engineer qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Ability to calculate surface areas and densities.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of technical support or client facing experience with-in manufacturing.
- Experience with measurement tools and testing tools such as resistance meters, temperature devices, etc.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
