Main Shop Service Advisor Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service drive
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs
- Create repair orders and communicate work clearly to technicians
- Provide estimates, timelines, and recommendations to customers
- Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding repair status
- Coordinate workflow between technicians, parts, and service teams
- Review completed work, ensure accuracy, and explain services at delivery
- Upsell recommended maintenance and services based on vehicle needs
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction
- Follow all dealership policies, safety standards, and service procedures

Main Shop Service Advisor Qualifications
- Previous automotive service advisor or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn quickly
- Computer proficiency and experience with service software (preferred)
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and customer focused
