Job Description
Gedeon GRC Consulting is looking for a CADD/REVIT Technician-Structural to join our firm. This candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design, proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CADD) software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD, and minimal experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D. The CADD/REVIT Technician-Structural is responsible for assisting the structural department with preparing design documents for structural systems, including technical drawings, details, structural notes, and schedules.
Salary Range
$65,000 - $102,000 annually, Pay commensurate with experience
LOCATION:
Options of Remote, Hybrid (local to the NYC Metro Area) or in office at our Syosset NY, Princeton, NJ or Newark, NJ locations.
Travel
This position requires travel (less than 10%).

Responsibilities
❖ Create 3D BIM models using REVIT to a high level of accuracy.
❖ Prepare and develop detailed 3D Structural Revit models.
❖ Develop plans, sections, elevations and details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities.
❖ Clearly annotate, dimension and detail production drawings in conformance to standards and practices.
❖ Setup and manage large sheets set including revisions and markups for each project. Plot drawings to pdf, dwg, or to paper plots.
❖ Set up and geo-locate multiple models for a single project.
❖ Knowledge & understanding of 3D Laser-scanning & modeling with Point Clouds.
❖ Develop Revit families (both non-parametric and parametric).
❖ Required Multidisciplinary Experience (Revit Linking).
❖ Thorough knowledge of the Revit platform including Model Sharing and Objects Families creation.
❖ Coordination with other disciplines such as Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical services.
❖ Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.
❖ All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
❖ BS or BA with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in CADD/Design in structural engineering.
❖ Expert in Revit Structure is a MUST.
❖ Autodesk Certification and technical training in drafting or building modeling.
❖ Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD including AutoCAD Architecture, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office products.
❖ Knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Recap, Bim360, ACC, Navisworks a plus.
❖ Knowledge & understanding of 3D Laser-scanning & Point Clouds.
❖ Ability to decipher construction plans.
❖ Ability to visualize finished products as well as projects.
❖ Extremely organized and detailed oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple requests in a growing company environment.
