Technical Service Engineer - Elevator Systems
who should be able to manage day-to-day project activities, identify and ensure prompt resolution of issues, and work together with the Service Department Team to ensure the Work is proceeding on schedule, within budget and according to contract requirements and specifications.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support for customers and technicians via phone and remote support.
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Identification and narrowing down of fault codes and diagnostic data
- Analysis of machine data
- Spare parts management
- Selection and specification of required spare parts
- Clarification of spare parts inquiries
- Interfaces with customers, service technicians, sales departments, and our HQ in Germany.
- Prepare and process training documentation for troubleshooting elevators as well as schedule trainings
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Confident handling of circuit diagrams (according to IEC/international standards)
- Basic understanding of industrial automation technology (knowledge of Siemens systems is advantageous)
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics (main power circuit, safety circuit, and field wiring) in accordance with common standards
- Experience in troubleshooting machines and systems, ideally in the elevator industry
- Structured and analytical way of working
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification

- Willingness to travel to and work across the U.S. (5-10% Travel required)
