Duties
- Assist in performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Support troubleshooting activities using schematics, wiring diagrams, and analysis skills to identify faults in machinery or electrical systems.
- Learn to operate and maintain tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, low voltage testers, and precision measuring instruments.
- Participate in the repair and welding of metal components using
welding techniques under supervision. - Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Support the calibration of equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Gain experience working with industrial electricians on electrical projects involving high voltage and field service operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school background preferred.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in industrial mechanic work or manufacturing facility maintenance.
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of schematics, hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician experience is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools experience preferred
- Strong analysis skills with attention to detail; ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication skills in English; customer service orientation is advantageous for interacting with team members and supporting technical sales when needed.
- Prior experience, farming or military background in industrial maintenance or field service is beneficial but not required.
