We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a premier upscale dining establishment in Greensboro, NC. Our kitchen is a high-energy environment focused on culinary excellence and flawless execution. We operate a high-volume dining room, consistently producing over 3,000 covers weekly while maintaining strict quality standards and exceptional guest satisfaction metrics.
As the leader of our back-of-house operations, you will direct daily kitchen activities, spearhead seasonal menu development, and mentor a dedicated brigade of cooks. We need a solution-oriented culinary professional who can optimize food cost percentages without compromising on quality. You will bring a proven track record of improving kitchen efficiency, driving profitability, and reducing staff turnover through effective team management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the culinary team during high-volume service, ensuring every dish meets strict upscale dining standards.
- Develop and engineer seasonal menus that balance culinary creativity with smart cross-utilization and profitability.
- Manage prime vendor relationships, inventory control, and kitchen financials to consistently meet food cost and labor targets.
- Implement and enforce rigorous sanitation, health, and quality control standards across all prep and line stations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sous chefs and line staff to build a strong, reliable bench of culinary talent.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of kitchen P&L management, menu engineering, and labor optimization.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and retain diverse culinary teams.
- Deep passion for culinary excellence and a strong command of modern cooking techniques.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
