What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Specialist position at Gebhardt Property Management?
Looking for a well organized, self starter, with good communication skills to work at a busy and growing residential Property Management Company in Portland Maine. The desired candidate should have a background in one or more of the following: customer service, apartment leasing, project management, real estate, office administration, scheduling, HOAs, or budgeting. This is a varied position that utilizes multiple skill sets. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn a must. The ideal candidate should be confident to work on their own but to know when to ask for support or seek further direction. We are willing to train the right person.
Tasks:
- Schedule and perform apartment showings
- Screen potential tenants
- Draft Leases using our comprehensive management software.
- Schedule and coordinate move-ins and move-outs
- Work with tenants for Lease renewals/non-renewals
- Coordinate with and advise property owners about Lease details, etc.
- Fill out and compile the necessary rental forms for the City of Portland
- Attend HOA meetings as needed
- Help maintain the administrative systems
- Project Administration including procuring estimates, contracts, compliance, and reporting
- Light clerical duties
- Work on other tasks and projects as they arise either on both a short or long term basis
