Work days vary, but typically run Monday through Friday with occasional need to work weekends. The work day starts at sunrise and typically ends early afternoon.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and maintaining water clarity.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking and adjusting chemical levels to ensure water safety and quality.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; coordinate repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and equipment repairs for each pool serviced.
- Identify potential issues early by conducting thorough inspections and recommend necessary service actions.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times. This includes your personal pick-up truck interior as well as the bed of the truck.
Desired Skills
- Experience with pool maintenance routines including chemical balancing and water testing.
- Prior service technician experience or similar roles is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure pools are properly cleaned, maintained, and safe for use.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working outdoors with potentially hazardous chemicals or equipment.
- Good communication skills to document work performed clearly and accurately. Compensation and Requirements
- Probationary period of 2 weeks (5 days a week) will be paid at $75 per day. These 2 weeks will be spent riding with a Lead Technician learning the job, equipment, and chemicals.
- Once hired on full time, compensation is dependent upon experience with a potential range of $400 - $600 per week.
- A reliable personal pick-up truck is a job requirement. When you run your own route, compensation for use of your personal pick-up truck will be paid at $100 per week and a gas allowance is also provided.
- Opportunities for bonuses are reviewed twice a year and are dependant upon job performance and outstanding customer service.
- Uniform button down shirts with company logo, hats with company logo, and sweatshirts with company logo will be provided upon full time employment approval. Water wicking shorts or pants and tennis shoes or work boots are the responsibility of the employee and must be in good condition and presentable at all times.
