What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ski and Gear Tech position at Gear House?
Job Overview
Welcome to Gearhouse! Our goal is to make the outdoors more approachable.
We're not mounting skis here - what we need is someone who can keep a rental fleet healthy: spotting a binding problem before the member does, tunes and waxes, boot fits that aren't working, and knowing when a pair should come off the rack for good. Experience across other sports is a real plus, winter or summer — our racks don't stop at skis, and neither do our seasons. This is a year round position ( if you'd like! ) that leads right into camping/hiking season. Join Gearhouse if you want a slower rental environment where every customer gets the time and guidance they need for a broad variety of adventures. You'll get to know the members' on a more frequent and recurring basis from expert adventurers to those just getting started on their outdoor journey. Successful gear wranglers at Gearhouse get bonus hours to host member trips from weekday skiing to shuttle rides to the mountain and back!
