Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, brakes, engine rebuilds, transmission swaps, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and longevity of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
- Work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repairs, and auto estimating to deliver complete vehicle solutions.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics for complex repairs such as diesel engine repair and automotive electrical systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership environments preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive mechanical systems repair including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, and brake repair.
- Hands-on experience with diesel mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, and auto body repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for precise troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Prior experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to vehicle maintenance standards and customer service excellence.
