Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects across industrial and commercial settings, ensuring all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial and commercial electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults within complex electrical circuits.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure, adhering strictly to electrical safety procedures.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NFPA 70, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of electrical work aligned with project specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial and commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and control panels.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and circuit testers for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to renovation or new installation projects.
- Strong hand tool proficiency including wire strippers, screwdrivers, drills, pliers, and power tools necessary for electrical work.
- Excellent problem solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintaining safe working environments.
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
