About the position
Your responsibilities and tasks
- Labeling and assist in the preparation and / or assembly of packaging materials including sleeving, forming cartons, palletizing, and staging work areas.
- Assist in the set-up of production equipment such as tape machines and staplers. Assist in unloading trucks.
- Assist in various janitorial duties.
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance of the immediate work area.
- Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
- Follow all manufacturing procedures per GMP and FDA requirements.
Your profile and qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of related experience.
- Operate different types of forklift trucks safely.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Communicate with production personnel to ensure workflow.
- Perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Follow safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, confined space, HAZMAT, and forklift safety protocols.
- Knowledge of safety procedures.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $19 - $21 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
