The EHS Digitalization leader must be able to partner effectively with Company leaders and Business Unit EHS Leaders on creating and implementing all solutions for mitigating risk and prioritize initiatives in alignment with BUs based on risk to ensure focused execution.
This leader will support and implement the integration of EHS digital programs, goals, values and other factors, while ensuring EHS data fulfils SoX requirements and CSRD expectations. Additional goals are streamlining procedures and processes while improving program effectiveness and increasing collaboration and synergy across GE Vernova Energy Businesses.
Create digital strategies for EHS to reduce risk and cost which includes:
Testing and validation of new and exisiting EHS digital tools together with GE Vernova stakeholders
Responsible for the EHS tools IT landscape (Gensuite, ComplyWorks, Sofi, Tableau/PowerBI/MATE, OSHA/EU OSHA logs) and ensuring data compliance to legal and stakeholder requirements (customers, investors, financial institutions, Board of Directors)
Simplification (one shop one tool – 3 click rule for the GE Vernova EHS Webpage)
As such, the EHS Digitalization Leader will support cross business communities of EHS leaders, all using a standard approach to collect, report, and manage data.
Essential Responsibilities:
GE Vernova EHS data validation, management, and reporting
EHS reporting and data control towards the annual GE Vernova sustainability report.
Drive improvement in EHS performance by ensuring EHS data systems meet current and future business needs
Develop an EHS Leadership Training program standard for GE Vernova Energy Businesses to cover requirements around external/internal reporting aspects (compliance)
Drive data excellence and closure of any open items/actions across among the GE Vernova Energy Businesses.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in engineering, computer science, or another relevant technical / business field required.
Senior professional with significant experience in enterprise data management and reporting
Knowledge of relevant reporting requirements and standards described in, but not limited to, Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (US), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 2021, CSRD/TSRD EU Directives, CSR EU Directive2014/95/EU, REACH, RoHS/WEEE, Conflict Mineral, and OSHA/EU OSHA
Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
Desired Characteristics:
Excellent communication abilities needed to manage change and intercultural sensitivities, in a highly matrixed environment while also engaging external partners
Experience in a lean operating system environment and companies with a strong DNA
Expertise across complex global environments in manufacturing, projects and services environments including customer sites, contractors, and consortium partners
Strong data analytics capabilities and ability to use data to support decision making
Extensive knowledge on how to setup and maintain an EHS management system
Leads with Humility, Transparency & Focus
Ability to drive critical thinking
Experience as an auditor (ISO 9001/ISO 45001)
Experience operating in a highly-matrixed organization, handling job tasks through functional leadership.

The salary pay range for this position is $144,000.00 - $241,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 15% annual incentive bonus.
