Job Description Summary

Leads, sets priorities, and drives the execution of continuous improvement and Lean projects across the Gas Power Services business globally. Working with the Services Business Operations Leader, and Services SLT, to develop and implement a long-term plan that drives continuous improvement across all aspects of the Services business portfolio, aligned to the global strategy and business needs.
Partnering with the Business Lines, Regions & Fulfillment Functions to ensure projects are prioritized, resourced, and delivered in a way that delivers the required results and are sustained over the long term.

Job Description

  • Shape the Continuous Improvement & Lean vision, in accordance with the business strategy, and translate the vision into goals, objectives and strategies resulting in cross-functional cultural change which delivers consistent, year-over-year results across Services globally.
  • Develop a World Class Continuous Improvement & Lean organization, partnering with Business Lines, Regions & Fulfillment functions that drives cross business improvements that delivers a positive customer experience, reduces waste while improving Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost.
  • Manage the project selection process from opportunity identification, selection, and prioritization through to delivery of the project and required outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage data across the ITR Services enterprise, preparing analysis and recommendations that feeds the opportunity pipeline for improvement across the business.  
  • Work with senior leaders to assess current baselines and determine the framework processes to be improved using the Lean methodologies while providing leadership and direction to CI / Lean Leaders to scope and analyze Lean opportunities across the Value Streams.
  • Drive simplification of complex processes and manage cross-functional relationships to support business impact achieved through our tools and systems.
  • Provide key output data, metrics and presentations for reporting, operating reviews, and business communications.
  • Share best practices and act as a conduit to accelerate cross business progress.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge / experience.
  • Advanced experience in either the Commercial or Operations environments with strong business process understanding and proven track record of results using Lean methodologies.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, proven ability to manage across networks.
  • This job will require travel >25% , may vary depending on location
  • Additional cross-functional leadership experience in the areas of commercial, business operations, finance, engineering, and/or quality is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in business or other related area, Black Belt or Master Black Belt is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas
  • Responsible for meeting customer/business needs as well as developing direct reports

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $350,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits.
