Job Description Summary
The AMRT Repair Engineering Lean Leader will drive culture of lean through daily management, continuous improvement, and problem solving. This role will be essentially in the sustainment and improvement of existing transactional lean lines within the AMRT organization. Additionally, this role will work directly with the Repair Engineering leadership team to develop new standards and daily management for the repair lifecycle engineering organization.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Leader will drive Lean culture shift within the Repair Engineering team through daily GEMBA, continuous improvement and problem solving
  • You will be responsible for sustainment and improvement of existing transactional lean lines within the AMRT organization
  • Lead monthly problem solving and quarterly sprints to improve standard work and engineering processes within the AMRT organization
  • Partner with AMRT lean leader to drive Kaizen events to further expand adoption of lean with the organization
  • Willingness to attend formal lean training and train others in the organization in the application of lean
  • Coordinate with repair engineering leadership team to establish metrics and KPIs for all levels of organization.
  • Through partnership with Repair Lifecycle Engineering leader establish new standard work and daily management for lifecycle organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years experience in Hot Gas path or combustion repair
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestic and international up to 10% to support global teams.

  • Previous experience directly supporting a lean line either in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Previous experience utilizing lean tools and methodologies such as daily management, standard work, GEMBA, value stream mapping, etc.
  • Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

The base pay range for this position is $98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonvariable incentive compensation/equity.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
