Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform mold surface and root plate maintenance duties.
- Perform PMM on all mold/web mold equipment
- Fabricate tooling/equipment
- Assist in the installation and training of fabricated tooling/equipment.
- Assist in the relocation of existing molds
- Assist with creating necessary documents for all equipment introductions
- Assist Engineering/CI/Maintenance teams on project related tooling/equipment
- Assist GIL’s and/or Industrialization teams on technology implementation and/or new mold installations
- Cleaning of plant equipment using dry ice blasting system and/or other cleaning methods
- Create and maintain silicone used for web molding
- Certifications in Laminate Repair, Gelcoat Repair, Crane, aerial Lift, and PIT Certifications.
- Must wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions and dispose of chemicals appropriately.
- Maintenance and/or fabrication knowledge.
- Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, welders, torches, etc.
- Must be able to read/decipher blueprints/drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Composites, Commercial construction, or auto-body preferred.
