The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.

Key Responsibilities
The Lead Engineer will be part of the Gas Turbine Engineering (GTE) organization. In this role, they will:
- Deliver, test, and productionize pivotal AI and automation use-cases to support the following gas turbine design areas: mechanical, heat transfer, aero, CFD, geometry creation, design for manufacturing and/or operations. Collaborate with these design teams to understand needs and deliver solutions that enhance productivity.
- Work with GTE leadership to execute against metrics that assess the effectiveness of AI/ML training programs.
- Train and coach design engineers spanning multiple countries including US, Poland, India, and Mexico on AI/ML/automation tools; create clear documentation, standard work and playbooks.
- Ensure model governance and responsible AI practices including, but not limited to, validation, bias checks, IP protection.
- Collaborate across GTE to share best practices, and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 3 years of experience with data science and related gas turbine design experience
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
Desired Characteristics
- Proficiency with python and prior experience with AI/ML
- Prior experience working in GEV Gas Power Engineering
- Track record of training technical teams and driving tool adoption/change management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and people. Established project management skills with ability to drive projects to completion.
- Ability to work with global team.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers. Strong presentation skills.
