Position
Sr. Automation Systems Technician – 1st Shift

How You'll Create Possibilities
Equipment Expertise
- Be the go-to technical resource for troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems and PLCs in your area.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with robotics, servos, scanners, and other advanced systems.
- Enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by ensuring maximum equipment availability, performance, and quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering to implement necessary equipment upgrades.
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and refine Preventative Maintenance Plans.
- Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
- Employ proper PPE and Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Foster a culture of safety in every task you undertake.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding how PLCs, Robots, and other automation equipment work and the ability to set up, program, and maintain this equipment.
- Proven problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to analyze automation equipment issues to implement solutions.
- Advanced computer skills – high proficiency in Microsoft office products with the ability to grasp new systems quickly.
- Solid verbal/written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with hourly and salary personnel to meet the needs of operators and the shop.
- High initiative, self-starter, proactive, dedicated, results oriented.
- Eligible to work overtime based on business needs.
