The scope will include data engineering in the Enterprise Data Lake (Redshift), Spotfire visualizations, and supporting data ingestions from Redshift into Palantir Foundry. You will collaborate with DSC TPM to scope and prioritize application development needs, define and set operational support standards, contribute to development and support activities, and assess capacity and skillset needs and constraints within the development team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate application development and operational support activities within a software DevOps pod of with contractor resources
- Apply data engineering expertise across team members and help with code development as needed
- Define application developer and operational support standards and create standard work documentation
- Assist in scoping and prioritizing application features across multiple Technical Product Managers and evaluate requests to determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration
- Assess skill and capacity gaps within DevOps pod
- Architect and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex business requirements
- Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality
- Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions
- Develop new application enhancements
- Document system changes
- Review technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Train/Mentor less experienced resource
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 6 years.
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
