Role Summary/Purpose:
The Facilities Electrical Engineer will support the site operations of GE Research.
- Develop electrical design drawings using AutoCad
- Generate electrical equipment material lists for procurement
- Work with Project Managers, Researchers and other staff disciplines
- Provide direction to Electricians, Technicians and other trade labor
- Perform field work to validate construction drawings with as-built conditions
- Participate in developing on-site facility electrical requirements
- Maintain/Update plant electrical single line diagrams
- Manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Utilize NFPA, New York State Building Code and OSHA regulations
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Fire Alarm Expert - experienced with various versions of Honeywell EBI systems
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design
- US Citizenship is required
- Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY
- Must be 18 years or older

The base pay range for this position is $800-$1,500 weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This posting is expected to close on January 15th, 2025.
