What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter position at GDN Welding?
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an industrial painter preferred.
- Experience spraying industrial epoxy primers, urethane topcoats, and other industrial coating systems.
- Knowledge of surface preparation methods, including degreasing, sanding, grinding, and masking.
- Experience operating airless spray equipment.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and telehandlers.
- Ability to read and follow paint specifications and product data sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work on elevated surfaces.
- Comfortable wearing respirators and other required PPE.
- Able to work in outdoor environments during extreme heat, cold, humidity, and other weather conditions.
- Capable of performing physically demanding labor throughout a 10-hour workday.
