What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Supervisor | Technician position at GDL Building Maintenance?
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects
- Work hand to hand with other technicians
- Ensure that the locations under our responsibility are executed in optimal conditions
- Ensure equipment and materials are in good conditions.
- Review all information about the job to be performed and complete all requirements
- Maintain communication with administrators and janitorial staff
- Manage service expenses including equipment, supplies and materials
- Restock and organize the shop with all the supplies needed
- Create reports containing all issues in each location supervised
- Maintain the company vehicles in good conditions
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 1 year of experience in carpet extractions, window cleaning, strip and wax, floor care, etc.
- At least 3 years of industry experience
- Bilingual
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
- Ability to maintain positive attitude
- Ability to resolve problems
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
- Ability to complete janitorial duties
- Ability to drive long distances

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday (Morning availability - mostly during the afternoon)
