Janitor

GDI Services Inc. is looking for Janitors to work in the Detroit Public Schools Community District. Must be able to pass background screen. These are union positions. They include: paid holidays, vacations, and sick/personal time.

Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
